On January 18, 2024, the Benthanh Group Trade Union organized the “Loving Spring Stall 2024” at Binh Chieu Industrial Park, Thu Duc City.
This welfare initiative provided essential Tet goods for union members and workers in need. A total of 260 underprivileged workers from Lidovit Fastener Manufacturing Company, Sapa Benthanh Aluminum Extrusion Company, and the Printing Workshop of Benthanh General Culture JSC used VND 500,000 vouchers issued by the Trade Union to shop at the event. As their shifts ended, workers eagerly flocked to the stall, creating a lively and festive atmosphere.
In 2024, these businesses faced challenges due to unstable market conditions, reduced orders, and shortened working hours, which affected wages and Tet bonuses. Understanding these hardships, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, Benthanh Group Trade Union, and grassroots unions have continuously provided meaningful support programs to care for workers and union members.
