On June 26, 2025, Ben Thanh Tourist Joint Stock Company (BenThanh Tourist) holds the 2025 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders, summarizing business activities for the period 2020 – 2024 and orienting new strategic on for 2025 – 2030, preparing for a upcoming development path. The 2020–2024 summary report shows that BenThanh Tourist has recovered strongly from the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. Despite accumulated losses in 2020 and 2021, the company quickly rebuilt its business operations when the pandemic was under control, with flexible and effective solutions. By the end of 2024, undistributed profit after tax had cleared the loss and reached more than VND 2.3 billion. Total revenue reached VND 1,181 billion, exceeding the plan by 15%; total assets reached over VND 502.5 billion, up 64% compared to the beginning of 2022. Return on equity (ROE) reached 13%, and Return on sales (ROS) reached 6% — demonstrating sustainable recovery and improved management capacity. SAVICO (Saigon General Service Corporation) exceeded 2024 Annual Plan, continued to invest in developing Geely’s Agent and other new brands, keeping on leading position in 2025 – 2030. On May 16, 2025, the 2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Shareholders of Saigon General Services Corporation (SAVICO – stock code SVC) was held in HCMC. With high consensus and unanimity at the meeting, all reports, proposals and many other important contents were approved. 2024 is considered as a vibrant year for the Vietnam automobile market when several of the new car models continuously appear along with the strong entry of big automobile brands from China.
