On July 31, the Benthanh Group (“BTG”)’s Party Committee held the Party Executive Committee Conference (expanded) – Reviewing the activities of the first 6 months of 2025 at Vien Dong Hotel (275A Pham Ngu Lao, Ben Thanh Ward, Ho Chi Minh City). Attending the conference were the Board of Director and key personnels of member companies. The conference introduced 07 new personnel to the positions of: Capital Representative, Assigned Cadres, Board of Supervisors at member companies with BTG’s capital contributions.
Mr. Phan Tan Thao – BTG’s Deputy Secretary, Acting General Director reported at the conference: In the first 6 months of 2025, the BTG’s Party Committee has promoted the spirit of solidarity and dynamism, successfully completed the leadership in business production and Party developing mission. The total revenue of the system is estimated at 11,702 billion VND (32.9% of the plan), pre-tax profit reached 443 billion VND (47.9% of the plan), in which the industrial production sector recorded impressive growth. The holding company achieved revenue of 169.8 billion VND and pre-tax profit of 90 billion VND. BTG continues to effectively implement key projects such as the Ben Thanh – Ho Tram Resort project, the 71-79 Dong Khoi Hotel project, while accelerating preparations for equitization and restructuring. By the end of June 2025, 22/27 member companies had successfully organized the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders. The BTG’s Party Committee has seriously implemented the Central Resolution, consolidated the organization, improved the quality of cadres and party members; successfully organized the BTG’s 6th Party Congress (term 2025-2030) and transformed the organizational model of mass organizations according to the direction of superiors. Mass mobilization work and mass organization activities continue to be promoted, with many practical care programs for employees. The Trade Union, Youth Union and Veterans Association have successfully completed their political tasks, organized many meaningful activities, promoted internal strength, and actively contributed to BTG’s sustainable development goals.
The conference informed about the contents that the Executive Committee had commented on and agreed upon after the Congress of the BTG’s Party Committee, including: (1) Working regulations of the Executive Committee of the BTG’s Party Committee; (2) Working regulations of the Inspection Committee of the BTG’s Party Committee; (3) Action program to implement the resolution of the BTG’s Party Committee; (4) Assignment of members of the Standing Committee of the BTG’s Party Committee; (5) Plan to propagate and disseminate the Resolution of the Congress; (6) Working program of the entire term of the BTG’s Party Committee and the Inspection and Supervision Program of the entire term of the Executive Committee of the BTG’s Party Committee.
The contributions at the conference revolved around issues related to human resources management, capital representatives, and assigned cadres of BTG; the implementation status of BTG’s investment projects in the current period; care plans for the employees, the youth, and the young cadres.
In the conclusion part at the conference, Mr. Vu Dinh Quan – BTG’s Party Secretary emphasized the requirement to promote the spirit of initiative and creativity in leading key tasks. Regarding production and business: all member companies and the holding company strive to complete the revenue and profit targets for 2025; at the same time, promote market expansion, control inventory – receivables, reduce costs and improve asset efficiency. BTG focuses on perfecting the organization, improving the quality of human resources, exploiting the infrastructure of Binh Chieu Industrial Park and enhancing the brand of Emerald Ho Tram Resort. Regarding Party and Union organizations: keep on studying and promoting the theme of 2025, completing regulations, strengthening personnel, training cadres, and admitting new party members. Inspection, supervision and anti-corruption work needs to be strengthened; Unions promote their role in taking care of employees, implementing democratic regulations well and deploying the plan for the last 6 months, to successfully achieve the 2025 business plan of Benthanh Group.
