With the motto “Sharing Love, Spreading Smiles,” on July 26, 2024, Commendation Block 12—comprising Benthanh Service Joint Stock Company (Head of the Commendation Block), Benthanh General Culture Joint Stock Company, Benthanh Housing Development and Service Joint Stock Company, Nam A Footwear Import-Export Joint Stock Company, Benthanh Construction Investment and Housing Business Joint Stock Company, and Benthanh Materials Joint Stock Company—visited the Ho Chi Minh City Vocational Training Center for Disabled People and Orphans at Hamlet 6, Xuan Thoi Thuong Commune, Hoc Mon District, Ho Chi Minh City.
The event was also attended by Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Standing Deputy Secretary of Hoc Mon District, and Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc, Chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh City Association for the Support of Disabled People and Orphans.
At the center, Commendation Block 12 presented small but meaningful gifts to the children living and studying there, including two high-quality three-door stainless steel cabinets for the kitchen, six wall-mounted electric fans, two containers of scented floor cleaner, and 65 gift packages. These contributions aim to provide encouragement, helping the children overcome difficulties, build confidence, and strive for success in their studies and personal development to become valuable members of society.
Commendation Block 12 also toured the children’s living and learning areas, from the dining hall to vocational training rooms and the display area showcasing their finished products. They learned about the history of the Vocational Training Center through an introduction by its Deputy Director and listened to the children’s stories, thoughts, and experiences of studying and living at the center.
Although a small gesture, Commendation Block 12 hopes this initiative will inspire and motivate the children while also raising public awareness, encouraging society to listen, care for, and support them more. This aligns with the message: “Giving is Forever”—a call to action for everyone to cherish, respect, protect, care for, and uphold the rights of children with disabilities and orphans across the country.
