On April 18, Ben Thanh Corporation held a conference to summarize the patriotic emulation movement in 2024 and deploy tasks for 2025 at Emerald Ho Tram Resort.
Attending the conference were members of the Party Committee Standing Committee; Board of Members; Board of Directors and key officials of the Corporation.
The conference heard a report on the emulation movement in the entire Corporation system in 2024, which has been implemented synchronously, extensively and achieved many positive results. Member units have proactively developed emulation plans associated with production and business tasks, thereby promoting the spirit of creativity, solidarity, overcoming difficulties, contributing to completing and exceeding many annual plan targets. The reward work in the past year was also focused on, creating strong motivation for cadres, employees and workers to continue to make efforts and promote initiatives in their work. Mr. Phan Tan Thao – Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Acting General Director of the Corporation affirmed that the achieved results are an important foundation for the Corporation to enter 2025 with a new spirit, higher determination, continue to promote patriotic emulation movements, build a sustainable development Corporation, Ben actively contributes to the development of services of the City.
Within the framework of the conference, there were 04 collectives receiving the city’s emulation flag in 2024 – for outstanding achievements in work in 2024, leading the emulation block under Ben Thanh Corporation – One Member Limited Liability Company, namely Nam A Footwear Import-Export Joint Stock Company; Ben Thanh Tourism Services Joint Stock Company; Hoc Mon Trading Joint Stock Company; Saigon Riverside Hotel Joint Venture Company. There were 20 collectives achieving excellent achievements in completing their tasks in 2024; 09 collectives received Certificates of Merit for their excellent performance for 2 consecutive years 2023 – 2024; 08 collectives achieved the title of advanced labor collective, 05 collectives received certificates of merit for completing their tasks well in production and business activities in 2024.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Phan Van Quang – Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Members of the Corporation acknowledged the efforts and contributions in the past time and launched the entire Corporation system to continue to strive to complete the set targets and plans, continue to thoroughly grasp the policies of the Party and State on emulation, rewards, and implement Directive 05 of the Politburo; Emulation movements will be closely linked to production and business tasks, aiming to successfully implement the socio-economic development goals in 2025, reform the apparatus, digital transformation and solve the City’s difficulties; Improve the work of commendation, improve emulation activities in units, promote corporate culture and complete tasks well; Encourage staff to improve their professional qualifications to contribute to the construction and development of the Corporation; Focus on implementing the restructuring project and equitization plan according to the City’s decision; Actively participate in social activities, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity and mutual love.
Responding to the 2025 emulation movement launched by Ben Thanh Corporation, Ms. Huynh Thi Phuong Nam – Chairwoman of the Corporation’s Trade Union called on all union members and workers to actively participate with the spirit of innovation, creativity, solidarity and responsibility. The Trade Union will accompany in implementing practical emulation activities, associated with production and business tasks, taking care of workers’ lives, contributing to building the Corporation to develop more and more sustainably and successfully complete the goals and targets in 2025.
The Corporation has deployed the tasks in 2025, with 26 member enterprises performing the plan signing ceremony, determined to complete the production and business plan goals in 2025.
On the same day, 28 units that are member enterprises of Ben Thanh Corporation participated in the project “Planting trees to green Emerald Ho Tram Resort”. During the launching process, the project received positive contributions from the units with a value of up to nearly 400 million VND along with more than 200 seedlings of many different types, suitable for the ecological characteristics of the project area. This activity not only demonstrates the spirit of solidarity, social responsibility and environmental protection awareness of enterprises in the Corporation system but also aims at the goal of sustainable development, building a green – clean – beautiful resort environment at Emerald Ho Tram Resort. This is also one of the practical activities in the series of events to welcome the Congress of the Party Committee of Ben Thanh Corporation, and at the same time aims to celebrate the major holidays of the country in 2025. Through this program, the Corporation wishes to spread the positive spirit, commitment to the community and commitment to accompany the common development of the locality, also affirming its pioneering role in environmental and social activities.
