In celebration of the Party Congress at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, the 27th anniversary of Ben Thanh Corporation’s establishment (December 26, 1997 – December 26, 2024), and the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People’s Army (December 22, 1944 – December 22, 2024), the opening ceremony of the 2024 Ben Thanh Corporation Sports Festival took place on the morning of December 14, 2024, at the District 4 Cultural and Sports Center.
The event was attended by representatives from the Ho Chi Minh City Federation of Labor, members of the Party Standing Committee, the Members’ Council, the Executive Board of the Corporation, as well as executives from subsidiary companies and a large number of employees from across the system.
The festival, held from December 12 to December 14, attracted nearly 1,000 athletes and supporters from various units of the Corporation, competing in and cheering for events such as swimming, billiards, tennis, and obstacle course challenges.
Mr. Phan Tan Thao, Member of the Party Standing Committee and Acting General Director of the Corporation, congratulated the festival and encouraged athletes to compete with full enthusiasm, emphasizing that the primary goal was to enhance physical fitness, strengthen solidarity, and foster closer connections among the units. He expressed confidence that, following their efforts in achieving business targets, the Ben Thanh Group Sports Festival would continue to be an event that engages and excites employees across the entire Corporation. The festival’s success serves as motivation for employees to maintain high morale, accelerate year-end efforts, successfully fulfill their tasks, and continue to contribute dynamically and creatively to the growth of Ben Thanh Group and its subsidiaries.
