From July 30 to August 15, 2024, the Standing Committee of the Trade Union of Benthanh Group organized a support program to visit and present gifts to 54 union members facing financial hardship within the system.
Among them, 50 union members, despite experiencing exceptionally difficult circumstances, have continued to fulfill their duties diligently. Each of them received a package of essential goods and a cash envelope of VND 1,500,000. The total support amount of VND 75 million was donated by Benthanh Housing Development and Services JSC, along with other benefactors who support the union’s welfare activities.
Additionally, four long-serving union members diagnosed with serious illnesses were given financial assistance totaling VND 25 million, which was allocated from the Group’s Mutual Support Program. The Standing Committee of the Trade Union and the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Benthanh Group personally visited and encouraged these members.
Receiving the support gifts and heartfelt encouragement, the union members were deeply moved by this meaningful initiative from the trade union. This activity was also one of the key programs commemorating the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 – July 28, 2024).
