On July 10, the Quarter II/2024 Grassroots Party Secretary Briefing Conference was held at the headquarters of Benthanh Group, chaired by Comrade Tran Manh Ha, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Benthanh Group.
The conference reviewed key activities of Benthanh Group in the first months of the year. As of May 2024, the total revenue across the system was estimated at VND 12,207 billion, achieving 39.4% of the annual target, while pre-tax profit reached VND 265 billion, achieving 29.8% of the annual plan. In terms of personnel, two comrades were appointed as members of the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of Benthanh Group for the 2020–2025 term. The Group has also been focusing on preparations for the upcoming Party Congress at all levels.
For the second half of 2024, Party committees at all levels are required to review and assess progress towards meeting their respective Party Congress resolutions and the overall Benthanh Group Party Congress resolutions. Key tasks include:
- Administrative work within Party committees: managing Party membership fees, allowances for Party leaders, and commendation funds at grassroots Party organizations.
- Mid-year performance review, record-keeping of Party Committee and Party cell meetings, communication of directives from the Party Committee, Standing Committee, and Permanent Party Committee of Benthanh Group.
- Ensuring compliance with Party operational regulations.
- Strengthening Party membership through new admissions, official membership transitions, and maintaining Party members’ ties with their local Party branches under Regulation 213 dated January 2, 2020, by the Politburo.
- Implementation of the “Four-Good Party Cell” and “Four-Good Grassroots Party Committee” models and updating personnel planning for the 2020–2025 and 2025–2030 terms.
In his closing remarks, Comrade Tran Manh Ha emphasized the importance of completing personnel planning updates, preparing for the 2025–2030 Party Congress, ensuring timely and compliant Party admissions and official membership transitions, and organizing effective Party meetings at both cell and committee levels.
