On the afternoon of October 14, the 10th Congress of the Office Youth Union of Benthanh Group for the 2024-2027 term was held at Benthanh Group – One Member Limited Liability Company – Training Center Branch (212B/1 Nguyen Trai, Nguyen Cu Trinh Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City). Attending the congress were Mr. Phan Tan Thao – Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Standing Deputy General Director of Benthanh Group, and Mr. Pham Quoc Tuan – Member of the Party Committee’s Executive Committee, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Benthanh Group, along with Youth Union members from the Office Youth Union.
According to the report, the Office Youth Union of Benthanh Group has achieved many notable results. Political and ideological education efforts have been effectively implemented, including studying Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, thereby enhancing the awareness and political resilience of Youth Union members. The Youth Union has also actively organized movements such as “Volunteer Youth,” “Creative Youth,” and “Youth Readiness to Defend the Nation,” fostering a sense of initiative and responsibility among young people. Additionally, programs supporting youth in education, entrepreneurship, and skill development have been regularly conducted. The organization of the Youth Union has been strengthened through the induction of outstanding members into the Party, maintaining solidarity within the unit, and continuously expanding youth engagement efforts. The Youth Union has successfully fulfilled its role in advising and coordinating collective activities, contributing to the overall development of Benthanh Group and striving to achieve set targets.
For the 2024-2027 term, the Office Youth Union of Benthanh Group has identified key tasks amid global economic challenges, emphasizing the need for Youth Union members to enhance their sense of responsibility and contributions. The main tasks include political and ideological education, professional development, organizing activities aligned with community benefits, and promoting the corporation’s brand. The goals set include 100% of Youth Union members studying Party resolutions, achieving a youth engagement rate of over 90%, and introducing at least six outstanding Youth Union members to the Party. The Youth Union will also prioritize volunteerism, innovation, environmental protection, and initiatives supporting youth in education, entrepreneurship, and life skills training. The strengthening of the Youth Union will be reinforced through the identification and nurturing of new talents while maintaining strong ties with Party and Youth Union leadership.
In his directive speech at the congress, Mr. Phan Tan Thao commended the positive contributions of the Office Youth Union during the past term and expressed full support for the upcoming goals and directions. He urged Youth Union members to continue honing their skills and cultivating ethical values to further contribute in the new era. Additionally, he emphasized the importance of Party membership induction in the next term.
The congress elected the 10th Executive Committee for the 2024-2027 term, consisting of five members. Ms. Diep Kim Huong, an accountant in the Accounting Department, was elected Secretary of the Office Youth Union of Benthanh Group for the 2024-2027 term.
