On June 1, 2024, in celebration of the 134th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s birth (May 19, 1890 – May 19, 2024) and in honor of Workers’ Month, the Benthanh Group Office Youth Union organized the “Back to the Roots” program. The itinerary included a visit to the historic La Nga Victory Monument in Dinh Quan District, Dong Nai Province, followed by team-building activities at the Madagui Tourist Area.
At the La Nga Victory Monument—marking the fierce battle fought by revolutionary forces at the foot of the La Nga Bridge in 1948—delegates solemnly offered flowers and incense in tribute. The historical site comprises several key structures, including the 18-meter-high Victory Monument, the Traditional House, and a security station. The Traditional House serves as a repository for artifacts and images, authentically documenting the revolutionary struggle and the cultural heritage of local ethnic communities.
During the visit, the Youth Union held a ceremony marking the transition to senior membership for two comrades: Ninh Duc Thang, Deputy Head of the Party Committee’s Inspection Commission and Deputy Head of its Propaganda Department, and Dang Ngoc Huong, an officer from the Group’s Administration Department.
Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Ninh Duc Thang expressed deep gratitude to the Benthanh Group Youth Union and the Office Youth Union for their unwavering support, which has allowed every member to contribute meaningfully to the organization’s activities and the broader youth movement. He affirmed that, despite transitioning to senior membership, he and his peers would always stand ready to support and contribute to the Youth Union’s mission whenever needed, regardless of position or location.
The “Back to the Roots” program is a meaningful initiative that not only fosters a deep appreciation for the nation’s revolutionary history but also strengthens patriotism among union members. Moreover, it provides a valuable platform for interaction, learning, and strengthening the bonds of camaraderie among young professionals at the Benthanh Group Office.
