On the occasion of the 79th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2, 1945–2024), HocMon Agricultural Wholesale Market Company (HocMon District, Ho Chi Minh City) organized the Love Connection Charity Program 2024 to support those in difficult circumstances.
With the spirit of “The leaves protect tattered ones,” on August 16, 2024, HocMon Agricultural Wholesale Market Management and Trading Co., Ltd. held theLove Connection Charity Program 2024. The event served as a bridge for kind-hearted individuals to come together, share, and spread love to those facing hardship in the community.
At the same time, it aimed to provide motivation and reinforce faith in human kindness, encouraging people to build a better life together.
The Love Connection Charity Program 2024 organized by the leadership of Hoc Mon Wholesale Agricultural and Food Market this time includes 180 gifts for workers, cleaning staff, and warehouse assistant workers who are facing difficult circumstances. Each gift is valued at 500,000 VND and there are 55 scholarships, each worth 800,000 VND. Additionally, there is one free booth offering vegetarian sandwiches and bottled water at no cost.
Although these gifts may not have significant material value, they are given in the spirit of mutual compassion and support, with the hope that they will help reduce some of the difficulties faced by the workers and students in the area.

Previously, on August 13, at Huynh Thao Garden, the Hoc Mon District Women’s Union also coordinated with the Thien Tam Group of Hoc Mon Wholesale Agricultural and Food Market to organize the 14th “Merchants with Social Charity Work” Festival, 2024.
Attendees included Ms. Co Tan My Dung – Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Women’s Economic Development Support Department of Ho Chi Minh City Women’s Union; Mr. Le Van Nghia – Member of the District Party Committee Standing Committee, Head of the District Party Committee’s Mass Mobilization Department; Mr. Lam Van Thao – Vice Chairman of the District Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Ms. Huynh Thi Thu Cuc – Chairwoman of the District Women’s Union; Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung – former Director of HocMon Agricultural Wholesale Market Company; Ms. Le Hong Dao – former Deputy Director of HocMon Agricultural Wholesale Market.
At the Festival, donors contributed a total of 128 million VND. At the same time, the program also organized gifts for 140 households facing difficult circumstances, with each gift valued at 300,000 VND; presented 2 livelihood support packages worth 6,000,000 VND; awarded 20 scholarships of 1,200,000 VND each; gave 5 gifts to policy-beneficiary families, each worth 1,200,000 VND; supported 30 million VND for house repairs, and contributed 20 million VND for heart surgery expenses.
