At noon on July 16, the Trade Union of Benthanh Group, in collaboration with the grassroots trade unions of Sapa Benthanh Aluminum Co., Ltd. and Lidovit Industrial and Trading Joint Stock Company, organized a “Union Meal” for 468 workers. The event was attended by Mr. Le Anh Tuan, Deputy Head of the Policy and Law Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation.
Each meal, valued at VND 41,000, received additional financial support—VND 8,000 from the grassroots trade union and VND 10,500 from the Benthanh Group Trade Union—enhancing the quality of the meal. In addition to the main dishes, the meal included eggs, sponge cakes, and orange juice, providing better nutrition compared to the usual daily meal priced at VND 22,500 per serving. Mr. Huynh Van Minh, an electrician in Lidovit’s technical department, happily enjoyed the lunch and expressed his hope that the company and the trade union would continue enriching the menu with more nutritious and delicious options in the future.
