The thematic exhibition “Ba Son – The Flow of Time”, organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation in collaboration with the Ton Duc Thang Museum, took place from October 11 to October 25, 2024. In commemoration of the upcoming 100th anniversary of Ba Son’s traditional day (August 4, 1925 – August 4, 2025), more than 80 trade union members from Benthanh Group visited the exhibition.
Through detailed explanations and vivid imagery, trade union members and workers gained deeper insights into the history and development of Ba Son, the growth of Vietnam’s shipbuilding industry, and the Ba Son workers’ movement in the struggle for national liberation. The exhibition also highlighted President Ton Duc Thang’s pivotal role in the Ba Son workers’ movement in Saigon – Cho Lon during the early 20th century.
On this occasion, trade union officials, youth union members, and exemplary individuals recognized for their efforts in studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality, and style in 2024 also offered flowers and incense and visited the Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space at the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Cultural House, marking the 42nd anniversary of Ho Chi Minh City Young Workers’ Traditional Day.
