In celebration of significant historical milestones, including the 55th anniversary of implementing President Ho Chi Minh\u2019s Testament (1969\u20132024), the 42nd anniversary of Ho Chi Minh City\u2019s Young Workers’ Traditional Day (October 15, 1982 \u2013 October 15, 2024), the 94th anniversary of the Party\u2019s Mass Mobilization Work (October 15, 1930 \u2013 October 15, 2024), and the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam People\u2019s Army (December 22, 1944 \u2013 December 22, 2024), the Trade Union of Benthanh Group, in collaboration with the Group\u2019s Youth Union, held a commendation ceremony on October 19 to honor exemplary individuals and collectives for their efforts in studying and following Ho Chi Minh\u2019s ideology, morality, and style during the 2023\u20132024 period.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

The event was attended by representatives from the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, the Board of Directors, the Party Committee\u2019s Propaganda Department, the Executive Committee of the Trade Union, the Trade Union\u2019s Inspection Committee, as well as chairpersons and vice-chairpersons of grassroots trade unions and honored individuals and collectives.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

During the ceremony, 15 collectives and 31 individuals\u2014members of both the Trade Union and the Youth Union\u2014were awarded certificates of recognition for their outstanding contributions in studying and following Ho Chi Minh\u2019s ideology, morality, and style in 2024. To further encourage patriotic emulation movements and creative labor within the company, leading up to the 50th anniversary of Southern Liberation and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 \u2013 April 30, 2025), the Trade Union and Youth Union launched an initiative to collect innovative ideas and improvements from employees across the entire system. Additionally, 18 scholarships worth a total of 24 million VND were awarded to students who are children of workers facing financial difficulties, as part of the “Nguyen Duc Canh Scholarship” program, which aims to support the education of disadvantaged workers\u2019 children.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Following the ceremony, the delegation paid tribute at the Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space and visited the exhibition \u201cBa Son \u2013 The Flow of Time\u201d at the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Cultural House.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

On the same day, the delegation traveled to Can Gio District to offer flowers and incense at the Heroic Martyrs’ Temple of the Rung Sac Military Base. They also participated in specialized training sessions, including \u201cThinking Skills and the Art of Persuasion\u201d by Director Nguyen Thanh Chanh Truc, Lecturer at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Theatre and Cinema; \u201cCollective Labor Agreement Assessment and Quality Improvement\u201d by comrade Truong Anh Tuan from the Legal Policy Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation; and \u201cOrganizing Movement Activities in Enterprises\u201d by MSc. Pham Ngoc Quyen, Deputy Head of the Skills Faculty at Ly Tu Trong Youth Training School.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

On this occasion, the delegation visited a Vietnamese Heroic Mother and provided support to disadvantaged fishing families. The trip concluded with a collective bonfire activity under the theme \u201cProud of the Tradition of Ho Chi Minh City Workers\u201d, fostering team spirit and strengthening the sense of unity among participants.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n
